Log bodyweight, assisted, and band exercises

Use the correct load fields instead of treating every exercise as an external weight.

Choose the matching exercise

Exercise definitions determine which load controls are available. Select the movement and equipment that match the way you want to log it. A bodyweight movement, an assisted movement, and a band exercise can use different fields even when their names are similar.

  1. Add the appropriate exercise and inspect its load field.
  2. For bodyweight sets, enter reps and use Added Weight only for extra load. The bodyweight display is separate from that added amount.
  3. For assisted exercises, record assistance in the assistance field shown for that movement.
  4. For band sets, choose the resistance level offered by the band control and record the other applicable fields.
  5. Complete the set after checking the entered values.

Change supported load options

Where the set menu offers Use Body Weight or another load option, choose it to change how that set records load. Only options supported by the exercise are shown. Recheck the visible fields after switching rather than assuming the meaning of the previous numeric value is unchanged.

The bodyweight control can prompt you to update body weight. Use that control for the bodyweight value and keep any added external load in Added Weight.

Match band names to your equipment

Open Settings → Workout Data → Manage Band Resistance. You can rename, recolor, reorder, or disable levels so that the options match your own band set. The chosen level appears as a color strip on band sets.

Band level names are equipment labels, not a universal conversion to pounds or kilograms. If a level is missing from the picker, review its availability in Band Resistance settings. Keep using the same labels consistently so your saved history is easy to interpret.
