Focus the correct exercise
Quick Capture is the text field at the bottom of Standard mode. It can add a movement, focus an existing one, or log sets to the focused exercise. Read the focus text beneath the field before entering numbers without an exercise name.
- Type an exercise name to add or focus it, or tap an exercise card to focus it.
- If several exercises match, open Exercise Matches with the list button. Choose the intended match and use the arrow to add it.
- Enter set shorthand and submit it. Check the resulting row before entering the next set.
- If the field is hidden, open the workout menu and choose Show Quick Capture.
Weighted examples
bench 135x8Logs Bench Press for 8 reps at 135 in the applicable weight unit.
8 255Logs 8 reps at 255 for the focused weighted exercise.
3x12x55Logs three sets of 12 reps at 55. Spaced forms such as 3 x 12 x 55 are also accepted.
8 255 6 275Logs two sets for the focused exercise: 8 at 255, then 6 at 275.
5For a weighted exercise, reuses the previous logged set weight and logs 5 reps. A previous weight must exist first.
Bodyweight and matching limits
For a bodyweight exercise, push up 30 logs 30 reps. Once it is focused, 30 records another reps-only set. Use 10 +10 for 10 reps with 10 of added load. After a bodyweight set is logged, +10 adds load to that set without changing its reps.
Aliases from the Exercise Catalog are supported. If text is ambiguous, choose the exercise match or use a clearer reps-and-weight form. Cardio names can be added or focused, but enter time, speed, distance, and incline in the cardio fields.
