Enable the guidance

Adaptive Coaching is a Premium feature that uses the training information available in InMotus to provide recommendations and workout feedback. It is separate from connecting to a human coach or receiving an assigned workout.

  1. Open Settings → Intelligence.
  2. Enable Adaptive Coaching to use its available Home, workout, and post-workout guidance.
  3. Review Show During Workout if you want inline guidance while entering sets.
  4. Open Coaching Calibration when you want to add or revise the starting baseline used while history is limited.

Read a suggestion in context

Treat the displayed target as a suggestion to review before logging. Record the work you actually complete in the set fields. When a reference-source detail is available, open it to inspect the originating workout, date, exercise, reference set, and match quality.

The reference can come from a comparable set rather than an identical setup. Check equipment, set type, and visible units when comparing it with the current exercise. The graph beside an exercise opens Exercise Insights for additional saved history.

Control changes to targets

Some Program weight changes can open Adjust Remaining Sets? Use This Weight applies the proposed adjustment to the remaining targets; Keep Targets leaves the prescribed targets in place. Read the prompt before choosing so a single edited set does not imply a different intention for later work.

Show During Workout controls the inline guidance separately from the main Adaptive Coaching switch. Turning off inline coaching leaves Home and post-workout coaching governed by the main switch. After finishing a session, review the available summary feedback with the completed values rather than the original plan alone.
